I never use tabulatures, but as far as I know this is something that you can alter in the "tabulature setup" (in the staff menu). « Last Edit: May 2 nd, 2008, 8:54pm by Huntn » Is this an error with the program or is there a setting that controls how tablature is generated? It's sitting right next to the D so I don't know why the program would choose a 5 on the second string. Maybe in another octave or another fret, I'm not sure, but I know this note should be an open note 0 on the first string. The problem, for some reason tablature does not always display properly.Īssuming your familiar with music notation and guitar tablature, if I start out manually inserting notes on the second space down (C), tablature shows a 1 on the second string (thats right), then a note on the second line down (D), a 3 appears on second string (thats right).īut when I place a note on the first space down (E), tablature generates a 5 on the second line.
